Privacy & Cookies

Your privacy, in plain language.

This page explains the browser storage used by TYPE-BEAT STORE and how to manage optional cookie preferences.

What cookies are

Cookies are small values saved by a website in your browser. This site also uses browser storage for certain features. Browser storage is separate from cookies and stays in your browser.

Essential cookies and storage

Essential storage supports core features such as secure sign-in, your shopping basket, and site preferences. Essential features remain available whether or not you allow optional categories.

Authentication and sessions

When you sign in, the site uses a signed session cookie named typebeat_session. It is marked HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax, is restricted to the site path, and is Secure in production. Its lifetime is up to 30 days. The cookie contains session authentication data; it is not exposed to page scripts.

Optional analytics

There is currently no analytics service configured in the site code. Analytics cookies are off unless you choose to allow them. This preference does not itself enable tracking.

Optional marketing

There is currently no marketing pixel or advertising tracking service configured in the site code. Marketing cookies are off unless you choose to allow them. This preference does not itself enable tracking.

Payment checkout

Payment checkout uses the existing Paystack integration. Optional cookie choices do not disable checkout. Payment credentials are handled by the server and are not stored in browser cookies.

Change your preferences

Use or the same link in the footer to accept all, reject optional categories, or customize them. Your choice is stored in browser local storage, separate from your sign-in cookie.

Other browser storage

The site uses browser storage for features such as your basket, theme preference, and recent or rotating content. These values are kept in your browser and are not authentication credentials.
